In one of the biggest Amateur Muay Thai fights of the year, Best Muay Thai’s, Nick Chasteen will fight T.J. Arcangle for the International Kickboxing Federation 142 pound World Title.  The fights will take place in Oakland, CA. at the Oakland Convention Center at the Marriott on May 5.  We anticipate this being one of Nick’s toughest challenges to date as T.J. is an experienced amateur from a well respected camp in California.  However, Nick has never been more focused and is ready for whatever Arcangle brings this Saturday!  For more information or to purchase tickets, go to www.akpromotions.org

Two of Best Muay Thai’s top amatuer fighters will travel to Allentown, Pennslyvania to fight in the Inkosi Fights 155 lb K-1 style tournament on April 28.  In the first round of the tournament BMT’s Josh Pickthall will face Josh Aragon and Damien Early will fight 3 rounds vs. Kris Lindsey.  The tournament features top amatuers from around the country in K-1 style, 3 round fights.  For more information go to www.inkosifights.com

RESULTS:  Both AZ fighters WIN!  Josh Pickthall (Pictured above in red shorts) won by KO vs. Josh Aragon via straight right to the head in the first round!  Damien Early (Black shorts above) won a unanimous decision!  Both will continue into the second round of the Inkosi fights tournament.  Dates and opponnents TBD.

Best Muay Thai will have six of it’s fighters participating in the next Bad Blood Muay Thai show on April 7 at Celebrity Theater. Four of the fights will be USMTA title fights and all fights are with elbows.   Damien Early and Nick Chasteen were both scheduled to fight USMTA title fights, but unfortunately their opponnents back out.  Tickets will be available at participating gyms accross the valley and will also be sold at the theater box office on the day of the fights.  Discounted tickets are available for sale now at Best Muay Thai!  Our fighters matches are listed below:
